IG Metall invites members to the trade fair
IG Metall members can visit the Hannover Messe free of charge. The world's largest industrial trade fair will take place in Hanover from April 22 to 26, 2024. This year, the world's largest industrial trade fair once again has many trends in store. The focus will be on topics such as CO2-neutral production, energy, Industry 4.0 and Manufacturing-X, AI and machine learning as well as hydrogen and fuel cells. This year's partner country is Norway.

How do I get the e-Ticket?
If you are interested in an e-ticket, you will need the IG Metall registration link. This link can only be seen and used by members after logging in.
After entering the registration data, the personalized e-ticket will be sent to you by e-mail (the address was requested beforehand during registration). The personalized ticket is valid as a permanent ticket for all days of the event - but not as a ticket for public transport in Hanover.
IG METALL INFORMATION STAND: TIPS ON STARTING A CAREER AND AUTOMOTIVE CONFERENCE
IG Metall will also be represented again. You will find our information stand in Hall 2, Stand C 47. In addition to presentations on starting salaries and regulations in employment contracts, there will be tips and advice on applications, employment contracts and collective agreements.
IG Metall Niedersachsen und Sachsen-Anhalt is also organizing an automotive conference on 25 April 2024 entitled "Drive for Change - Company perspectives on the socio-ecological transformation in the automotive industry" (content and program in German). Participants will include Christiane Benner, First Chairwoman of IG Metall, and Olaf Lies, Lower Saxony's Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Construction and Digitalization, as well as other representatives from business and science. The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the trade fair grounds in the Technology Academy at Pavilion 36 (between Halls 26 and 16). The conference falls under Section 37 (6) of the German Works Constitution Act. If you would like to attend, please register with your local IG Metall office, quoting seminar number A500244001.
